Mental health Strengthening
Through a network of experienced psychotherapists, Mum Institute provides regular psychological support school-aged children living under institutional care, assuming the complete planning and coordination of the individuals’ sessions and transport, aiming to effectively address mental health issues and for the children to acquire life and work readiness skills for vulnerable youth.
In particular, participants in the program will be able to:
- Learn to process and evaluate their emotions and past experiences, so that they can cope positively and without stress in their daily life
- Gain better knowledge of their personality traits, skills and values, that constitute factors that undoubtedly influence their choices
- Learn to make confident decisions about their future, and integrate smoothly into society
- Build trusting relationships with their psychotherapists, something that will have a positive impact on them developing stronger social relationships
