The Job Shadowing phase of Mum Institute’s Professional Empowerment Program for Paidopoli Agia Varvara, continued with Κ. visiting the Academy Lara Guide Dogs, as she had expressed many times her love for animals and interest in caring for them.

K was greeted by Clara Joseph, the puppy raising manager of the academy along with Alex, an adorable 5-month-old labrador, who is being trained to become a guide dog.

At the beginning K. attended Alex’s training, learning about his personality and the procedure of training a guide dog. She also met Polo, Bruna and Red, and under Clara’s guidance she took on the role of the dog trainer and practiced basic dog training techniques, while learning more about rules and procedures followed by trainers.
