Mum Institute organised a series of art workshops in collaboration with internationally renowned artist Yannis Varelas, under the thematics of portraiture and collage. The starting point of the workshops was a number of photographs that the girls living  under the care of the institution, took with analogue one-use cameras. The aim of the workshop was to present art as a way of thinking, problem-solving, as well as to show the girls how they can organise their thoughts around one image and to express themselves creatively.
