Mum Institute organized a pottery workshop at the impressive space of Sealed Earth Ceramics Studio, for the teenage boys living under the care of The Home Project.

The boys were welcomed by the owner of the space and ceramicist Loukia Thomopoulou along with the rest of the workshop team, who led the workshop on the theme of “supernatural creatures” with the boys creating all sorts of supernatural heroes. 

None of the boys that participated in the workshop were familiar with clay. Their concentration and absorption in the creative process was impressive, as was the care with which they handled the clay and the attention they gave to the details of their creations. 

They had such a wonderful time that now, due to Sealed Earth’s generosity, they will be able to visit the site on a regular monthly basis!
