Mum Institute organized a tour of the Museum of Cycladic Art and an artistic clay workshop in the framework of the Professional Empowerment Program for Paidopoli Agia Varvara
As part of the Professional Empowerment Program designed and implemented at Paidopoli Agia Varvara, Mum Institute organized an educational visit to the Museum of Cycladic Art.
Under the guidance of the workshop facilitator and Art Therapist of the Museum of Cycladic Art, Loukia Haidemenaki, the girls living under the care of Paidopoli Agia Varvara took a tour of the permanent exhibition of the Museum, while discussing the objects of the collection. The tour was followed by a workshop in creative clay making, under the title “On the Museum’s Collections” and they made their own figurines inspired by the art of the ancient Cycladic civilization.
