Mum Institute organized the workshop ”My future career choice” in the context of the Professional Empowerment Program for the girls living under the care of Paidopoli Agia Varvara
In the framework of the Professional Empowerment Program for teenage girls living under the care of Paidopoli Agia Varvara, Mum Institute organized in collaboration with the specialized educator Dr. Maria Sitziouki the workshop ”My future professional choice”.
The workshop used a very large archive of printed photographs showing women in a variety of professions, as the starting point for discussing the plethora of different professional choices offered today, as well as on how a young woman can make her own path, the social stereotypes that are still active today and how one can make choices wisely, that will benefit her in the future.
Dr. Maria Sitziouki shared stories from her own professional development and trajectory, while actively encouraging the young girls to share their thoughts, through a tender discussion during which they felt they gained another mentor and friend.
